The Man Behind The Masks.
I started Larock Creations October 2019 to help with my PTSD. I’m a veteran prior army active duty for 6 years, and my job in the army was a Chaplain Assistant. While deployed to Afghanistan from 2010-2011 my job was to protect the chaplain since he didn’t carry a weapon. While deployed I lost a few friends and had to do numerous memorial services. After a while that will take a toll on you. I needed something to keep myself and my mind busy when I wasn’t working. So I thought “Hey I’m a huge horror fan, why not take a stab at making these masks” (Pun Intended). I’ve learned making masks for hours at a time (between 6-40 hours per mask) can be relaxing while listening to music. So I urge anyone with PTSD not just veterans find an outlet to help you relax, and remember you’re not alone. This company is in memory of my mother Susan Larock who I lost to cancer when I was 21.Without her showing me my first horror movie and showing me a new world there wouldn't be a Larock Creations. R.I.P mom 3-29-05.
